Terry has been in the local industry since 1983 originally as a switchboard electrician progressing into the design office and later into a sales position. He later took up a managerial post as a switchgear division manager overseeing all the departmental needs as well as the sales and marketing. He is widely known within the industry and often the first point of contact for the company working closely with both the electrical contractors and consultant engineers alike.

NIALL MCGUIGAN

Qualified with a degree in electrical and electronic engineering, Niall has also numerous years experience in the electrical contracting sector. After completing his degree he was appointed as a maintenance manager for a worldwide based company before moving on as a senior design engineer with the switchgear industry, initially looking after the English market. Niall has a vast experience in the switchgear/control panel sector liaising with both electrical contractors and consultant engineers to provide a workable solution to suit all necessary requirements.

MARK BROWN

SALES MANAGER >>

Mark has been with the company since 2001. He is a fully qualified panel electrician having worked previously within the switchgear industry before joining Sperrin Switchgear Ltd. Mark has also spent time as a design engineer and has more recently moved into a sales position with a very “hands on” approach to the contracts that he is involved with. He takes pride in overseeing projects from inception right through to completion.

MARK FREW

TECHNICAL MANAGER >>

Mark was Sperrin Switchgear’s first employee. He has worked through the ranks starting as a switchboard electrician on the shop floor. He is highly experienced in all aspects of design and manufacture. One of Mark’s primary roles is organising the work schedule from the procurement of material, through the manufacturing process to the delivery on site. Mark has also a key role in supervising the service side of the company which involves the alterations and modifications.
